Content Crooner Review
Content Crooner is an article submission service that used to be known as Article Marketer. Article Marketer actually split into two separate services…Content Crooner and Distribute Your Articles. Content Crooner is more or less the exact same service as Article Marketer was and I’ve been a satisfied customer for several years.
From my personal experience, and from talking with others who have used both, Content Crooner is the better choice when compared to Distribute Your Articles.
One feature I like about Content Crooner that Article Marketer didn’t offer was the ability to add additional pen names. This may not be important for some people but if you submit articles in a number of different niches or if you submit articles for SEO clients, the ability to have more than one pen name is essential.
I’ve always had good results with this service as each article is typically submitted to anywhere from 600-900 different article directories and websites including two of the most popular article directories…Ezine Articles and Go Articles.
A couple things that Content Crooner lacks that I feel would make it more effective are the ability to spin articles and timed submissions. Currently, Content Crooner blasts your article out to all 600-900 sites at once. Additionally, the exact same version of your article is sent to all of the sites rather than different versions of the same article as several other services do.
Nonetheless, I do still feel that Content Crooner is effective in boosting your search engine rankings via back links especially for long tail keywords. These are keywords that get a smaller amount of searches and don’t have as much competition. And it is certainly effective in getting your articles out to hundreds of directories and websites if that is your goal.
If I were comparing Content Crooner vs. Unique Article Wizard, UAW would still be my preferred article distribution service. However, Content Crooner is cheaper so if cost is a concern it would be a good alternative.

When Article Marketer split, I chose Content Crooner over Distribute Your Articles and have been very satisfied.
Thanks for your review. When Article Marketer split their customers into two distributeyourarticles.com and contentcrooner.com I unfortunately got put into distributeyourarticles.com. I can’t tell you how furious I am with them.
They delay distribution of articles for stupid reasons, like they didn’t read the content of the article so they didn’t like the category.
When they were forced on me, they charged my credit card $99 and told me that I had to pick a package from three VERY confusing packages.
They had a package that was six months free. So I decided to take it. They wouldn’t give me my money back, but still kept insisting that I was getting six months free. Their support stinks and don’t appear to be very “with it.” I mean really, who would tell a customer they are getting six months free after charging you $99.00 and they won’t give you your money back.
I had to stay with them so I could recoup some of my losses.
I’m going to switch over to contentcrooner and I hope they treat their customers much better. At least I hope they realize who the customer is.
